Alfonso Perillo, CPA, LICSW

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker having a clinical focus and specialization in helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, career, job and other life transitions. My practice philosophy emphasizes the modification of negative beliefs and patterns of thinking to lead to lasting change.

A Certified Public Accountant having had a long career in the business world and understanding of the challenges of the modern workplace. The perspective and experience acquired over 35 years offers my clients a holistic way of approaching their unique problems and struggles.

A Beck Institute CBT Certified Clinician having completed a robust and challenging certification by attending classes in CBT and supervision by a master-CBT clinician.  Beck Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing CBT and training mental health practitioners and organizations around the world, founded by Aaron T. Beck, MD and Judith S. Beck, PhD.

Education & Training

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College and Master of Social Work from Boston University. In addition, I have completed certificates in Executive Coaching from William James College and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Beck Institute.  I have also completed training to provide a non-pharmacological treatment for insomnia called CBT-I (or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) from the University of Pennsylvania

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and am a Certified Public Accountant.
